Called to order at 2:00 PM by Michael C.
Continued Discussion about the Meeting House Project:
The 75% architectural plans as prepared by Arnold & Scangas-Architects- Rebecca Arnold. General,
brief discussion followed with Motion by Michael C. to recommend the plans to the SH Meeting House
Committee and subsequently to the Selectboard. Seconded by Carl F., the vote was unanimous.
Michael C. informed the group that A&S will be offering a Construction Phase Contract to the Town
that includes; weekly monitoring, daily phone availability for questions, weekly on-site meeting with
GC and Build Cmte. This was briefly discussed and met with support and relief from the group.
Sandy G. updated the group about the NPS concern with exterior east side placement of heat pump
condensers. The NPS concern is it is a very visible side where some parking is likely. They would
rather have the units on the west side. Rebecca Arnold – A&S will ask Dubois & King about this.
3. Slate issue was briefly discussed. The size is 24” Tall and 14” wide VT Gray. All slates will be
removed before building is moved and go through a ring test. Replacement will happen with new
wood beneath and slates attached with copper nails.
