Architect’s Report: Schedule of Values Opened by David Carter
The Project has 2 Bidders:
Millbrook Building & Remodeling Inc.
B. Vermont Heavy Timber LLC
Motion by Sandy G. and Second by Russ S., to go into Executive Session to discuss Schedules of
Values. Vote was unanimous. Recording stopped.
Motion by Sandy G. and Second by Russ S., to come out of Executive Session.
Vote was unanimous. Recording started.
No action taken in executive session.
3. Old Business: Sue A. reported the asbestos clean-up will start this coming week.
4. New Business: Rebecca A. brought sample contract(s) for the Selectboard and a Draft of the
Construction Application that requires the Town to follow through on with Chris Boyd, State Asst. Fire
Marshall. David C. received the copies. Rebecca also stated that the Town should have a “Notice To
Proceed” ready for whichever Contractor gets approval so that the windows can start to be removed.
5. Next Meeting: Executive Session to discuss Schedule of Value Questions with individual Bidders.
Friday, Sept 26,2025, 3:00 – 4:00 PM with Millbrook and 4:00 – 5:00 Pm with VT Heavy Timber.
Questions will be emailed by Sandy G. to both Bidders by end of Tuesday Sept 23rd (includes 2
rounds of edit opportunities by the Committee): Goal on Friday is to come to agreement on a bidder
to recommend to the Selectboard at a special 5th Monday Meeting Sept 29 at 7:00 PM.
6. Adjournment: Motion to adjourn by Sandy G. and Second by David C.. Vote was unanimous.
