Continue Conditional Use/Site Plan Review for a Mobile Vendor ar 252 US RT 2 – Two Heros Brewery (23-82-RT252)
The hearing had been opened on July 12, 2023, and was recessed to Oct. 25, 2023 to allow the Applicants to gather more information for the Board. ZA Martha Taylor-Varney contacted them to confirm their attendance at the 10/25 meeting, at which time they requested to withdraw the application. The Brew Pub is currently applying for State permits (stormwater, etc.) related to a proposed expansion of the parking lot and will re-apply for the mobile vendor review at a future date if the proper permits are obtained from the State.
- Maxham moved to withdraw the application, with no decision rendered; J. Brightwell second. All in favor.

Administrator’s Report
- There are no hearings scheduled for November. The next DRB meeting will be Dec. 13 when a setback waiver hearing is scheduled.
- There will be no Zoning 101 class on October 26. The next class will be November 30 at 6PM at the Town Office.
- A structural engineer will be at the Town Office at 2PM on Oct. 26 to evaluate the condition of the building for the Town Office Committee.
- There was discussion about correcting the stormwater language in Sec. 606.B of the Development Regulations. It was recommended that, under Minor Development, the text be corrected to remove the words “less than” and correct the amount to “5000 to 10,999 square feet” of impervious surface….
- There was discussion about whether the HOME Act affects the approval process for adopting additions/corrections/edits to the Development Regulations. It appears to state that Australian ballot is no longer legal in rural towns. The Planning Commission is asking VLCT for an interpretation.
Adjournment
7:16 – D. Patterson moved to adjourn; G. Hunt second. All in favor.
Respectfully submitted,
Martha Taylor-Varney, ZA
