4. Treasurers report, Jessica. Approved request for $300 for Volley Net. Approved up to $1000 for a new Picnic table at Whites Beach. Motion approved for up to $600 to have the Italian Ice Night next spring. All budget requests must be submitted by December
5. General Business.
a. Recap: TRYathlon, Great success *Jessica will get Tom Martin’s address for reimbursement. Rosemary will send a thank you note.
b. Fall soccer. Dylan Practices have started. $1700 has been submitted for shirts. Motion approved for $800 left in budget to cover stipends for coaches.
C. Marble run- Lucy to update. Balls cost $1.99 each. Montshire Museum has examples. Could sell them as a fundraiser. She suggested local artisans/construction companies could submit designs. SHRC will calculate costs, locations and submit to Selectboard for funding. All projects must be submitted to the Selectboard for the 1% local tax money.
d. Whites Beach. A new picnic table has arrived.
Carol will report on the cost of a pergola. Buoys removed? Mike Wickendon removed cement blocks?
Dylan: Volley net at beach needs replacing. Cost $30 Ski and Ride.
Dylan- Basketball Teams may need new uniforms?
f. Italian Ices night Postponed to next year. $600 was approved.
g. Pickleball: Folsom has equipment. Phil to report findings from Folsom Principal Julie Pidgeon and Phys Ed teacher Bryce Currier.
h. Kids Kayak Club – Lucy will look into arranging this for next year.
i. Whites Beach. Lucy The swing set needs a new ladder.
J. Guy will update grants and progress on Island Acres management plan. Improvements to the boardwalk and pond.
K. New Business – Discuss guidelines for what we support. Strictly recreation activities?
