MINUTES OF A MEETING ON May 9, 2022
Present: Committee Members: Peter Zamore, Chair; George Harwood, Clerk; Bob Buermann; Bob Krebs; Ross Brown; Mike Gammal; NWRPC- Dea Devlin; Gretta Brunswick; -Otter Creek-Robert Clark
- Gretta led a good discussion of the surveys which were sent out. We are looking for approximately 75-100 responses. We have received 43 responses to date. There is an indication that the respondents want to engage in a conversation regarding the project.
- Peter submitted both the NWPC contract and the Otter Creek Contract to the select board. Both were approved and sent to the respective entities for their approval.
- Robert Clark indicated that they were awaiting one selectboard signature on the revolving loan application, Robert referred us to the Gov website for procedural and statistical references
- Robert Indicated that their present research indicates that there are limited soils in the Village District area and that he has contacted UVM to begin an archeological review of the area.
- Robert also recommended that we explore what the purpose of the project will be. Apparently, the state is more inclined to approve the loan if the project addresses reasonable and limited growth and the correction of existing problems rather than addressing large growth centers.
- Bob Krebs will try to explore a more definitive indication of what the town expects from this project.
