Treasurer’s report for YTD 25/26 budget – Jessica: Monthly review of remaining available for balance of fiscal year.
Whites – Town Beach parking passes. Increasing number of non resident passes to 80. $50 per parking pass. Was Naomi updated?
New Town Park Summary for posting to Town Website – Phil to review with Committee.
Rec Commission Key Activities and Business Calendar: Dylan to create template and lead discussion to update the calendar. Discussed at a prior meeting – the need to have a calendar with key activity dates, responsibilities, key vendor names, contact info, etc.
New town park naming suggestion: It was agreed at the last meeting that SHRC would compile ideas for names and submit them to the Select Board for a decision. Be prepared to contribute at least one suggested name for the Town Park. We also discussed the idea of creating a Google Form to solicit a vote for the top 3 names to encourage resident participation and create awareness for the town park.
Other Business.
Basketball: Dylan: Request for $200 for referee
Sledding Hill, Town Line Rd. Continue discussion from last year. Rosemary will contact Jeff Sikora.
Whites Beach shoreline protection plan – SHLT/Guy if present.
Pergola for beach: Carol, potentially good use of the 1% local tax $. More research will be done by Carol. A proposal is required to receive funding.
Other SHRC projects/proposals for the 1% food and beverage tax. All
