WASTEWATER COMMITTEE
MINUTES OF A MEETING ON 12/13/2021
Present: Committee Members Peter Zamore, George Harwood, Bob Buerman, Robert Krebs
Also present: Geta Brunswick, NRPC, Tim Maxham
Peter opened the meeting and announced that he made a presentation before the select board concerning this project. The select board approved of the committee going forward with the project and to apply for funding In addition the select board approved of the addition of Bob Krebs to the committee.
We reemphasized our desire to have a member of the committee who resides in one of the village centers. To that point, Janine attended the meeting and exhibited some interest in joining the committee. despite heavy lobbying and coercion she asked to be given some time to think it over.
Greta reminded us of the timeline that we established at the last meeting to solicit RFQ ‘s for the project engineer and consultant, which she advised us was the next logical step in the process.,
We then discussed at some length the proposed contract between NRPC and the Town of South Hero regarding NRPC’s assistance in moving the project forward.
We then discussed forwarding all correspondence directly to Peter as the Point person on the project
We then authorized Peter to submit, with Greta’s assistance, our project priority list. These actions were moved by Bob Buermann and seconded by George
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
