It is a collaborative grant involving the LCIEDC, SHLT, NWRPC and Local Motion. Mr. Julow stated that he will connect with members of the PC, SHLT and other members of the recreation commission to make sure that everyone is aware of all the proposal / projects regarding bike and walking safety / infrastructure. Beach – swings, grills, playground, etc – The committee will be looking into purchasing one new swing, moving one of the existing grills and purchasing a playground for pre-school aged children. Jessica Jackson is going to look into the possibility of fire pits. The area around the beach sign needs to be cleaned up as the shrubs and weeds have become a bit of an eye sore.
