Special Meeting of Monday October 9, 2026 at 7:00 PM
At Town Garage Salt Shed and via Zoom
Board Members Present: David Carter: Chairman, David Lane: Vice-Chairman, Skip Brown: Board Secretary, Steve Robinson, Anne Zolotas
Board Members Not Present: none
Other Town personnel + public present: John Beaulac
1. Called to Order:
– The meeting was called to order by David Carter at 9:05 AM.
2. Business:
A. The Board met with Road foreman John Beaulac at the John Roy Sand Shed. When the Shed was built, the north side area was closed in with the intention to eventually fit it out by adding electric, insulation, a floor, interior sheathing, doors and heat. The total estimate is approximately $92,000. After reviewing the work necessary, the Board decided to discuss this further at the regular meeting of October 12.
– John Beaulac also asked the Board if the work of the Road Dept. could shift the work schedule from working on the parking area for the new town park to the work on Lakeview Drive. The consensus of the Board is that this is good idea.
3. Adjournment:
-Steve Robinson made a motion to adjourn at 9:38 am. The motion was seconded, all in attendance so voted and the motion carried.
