Discussion Items
Budget update – Jessica not present
Whites Beach: Motion to approve purchase of grill and picnic table. Approved. Carol will coordinate purchases. Carol will check with Kim Julow. Town beach tree removal and planting – Ann Z- not present Beach port-a-lets need more frequent cleaning.
Phil will check with DJ’s to see if they have submitted bill for tree removal
Updates from Town Select Board at last meeting –none
Programs: Dan Foster, the PE teacher at Grand Isle school asking about hosting an archery camp for a week this summer- Dylan. Dan has asked for $1000. Discuss further in April.
Update on Toddler Time in the gym at Folsom on Sundays from 10-11:30 for the winter – Dylan will ask Whitney if they need any equipment.
Passes for public skating and Catamount Outdoor Center update – Rosemary. Several passes are still available. She will repost on Front Porch Forum and on Facebook town page.

Winter Volleyball updates if any – Dylan- It is going on when enough people show up.
Kristin Bartle spoke about having us sponsor the Soccer Challenger Program. $265 for full day, $210 for half day, $105 for tiny tykes. Camp is one week in late July. Kristin requested an extra portalet for the week.
Carol mentioned that the 1% Meals tax was to be used for recreation. Who will look into this?
Update regarding skating: Lighted rink at Apple tree Bay will wait until next year since the ice is melting.
SHRC Brochure update – Phil updated to include public skating at Cairns Arena.
Ski and ride program update. Only two days out of three. Refunds will be available :
Make a motion to give a $500 stipend to Dylan for coaching. Approved
Follow up action items for the next meeting: New shed for school. Skating on the lake with lights.next winter, Archery, Challenger soccer, Equipment for toddler time. Replacing buoys, grill and picnic table for White’s Beach. Extra portalet purchase for soccer camp and more frequent cleaning of Whites’ Beach port-a-lets. Look into who gets 1% meals tax.
Jessica will present the budget at the next meeting on April 8, 7pm. Rosemary will send out a meeting reminder the day before. Adjournment, 8 pm
