Approved minutes from last meeting
Highlights from Rec Commission Budget Review – Dylan: Select board did not have any concerns.
Treasurer’s report for YTD 25/26 budget – Jessica: $10,000 in the budget, we are within that amount.
New Town Park updates – Phil
Select Board approved transfer of property to town. Phil will provide a description of the park on the town website.
Park naming suggestions? We discussed coming up with three or four names and setting up a survey for other suggestions and feedback from the town.
Keeler Bay Recreation Path: The proposal submitted to the selectboard got sidelined by discussion of the Lavin property. The Recreation Commission was lukewarm about proceeding with the project.
Other Business.
Whites Beach Parking pricing and pass quantities for next summer: Increase number out of town passes from 70 to 80, at a cost of $50. Keep resident passes the same, $5 for two passes. Rosemary will update Naomi.
Basketball: Dylan: Request for $200 for referee
Sledding Hill, Town Line Rd. Continue discussion from last year. Rosemary will contact Jeff Sikora.
Sue Arquin has resigned from the commission. All future meetings will be on Phil’s zoom.
Items for next meeting:
Whites Beach shoreline protection plan – SHLT/Guy if present
Pergola for beach: Carol, potentially good use of the 1% local tax $. More research will be done by Carol. Proposal required.
Pickleball: Looking for a volunteer to be a coordinator.
