If you are a registered voter of South Hero and wish to run for local office, you must submit the Petition for Candidacy form  (Petition-to-run-for-office)  and the Consent of Candidate form (local-candidate-consent-pdf) to the Town Clerk no later than 4:00 PM on Thursday January 15, 2026 to be on the ballot and included in the Town Report.  The Petition for Candidacy form must be signed by no fewer than 17 registered voters of South Hero.
