Location: Zoom Meeting. Phil will open the meeting on Zoom remotely. If anyone wants to attend in person please contact Sue to coordinate securing the Town Hall meeting room and keys.

Discussion ItemsUpdates from Town Select Board at last meeting – Sue- Ann Z hadn’t heard from tree Co. about removal yet
2025/26 budget submitted and year over year changes. We don’t know if it was approved.
Next year ideas: form a subcommittee about bicycle routes, signs, places to visit. . SHORE project funded a study.
SHRC annual summary details and input needed from everyone. Due date now.
Town Park update after conversation with Nate Hayward. Phil: Nate is pulling together an agreement with the town for property to be used as a town park. Park should be available to be used in late summer.
Green Mountain Concession beach trash pickup for next summer – in the budget.
Town Beach downed tree re-planting for next year. Guy recommended planting a few trees soon above the high water mark to insure they will survive due to wave action. Bio engineering has projects that stabilize shorelines with low growing plants, prevent erosion, and improve water quality..
Discussion about replanting of trees and path forward to secure funding for costs above $3k which have not been budgeted in the plan for next year.
Trail updates – Guy provided an update regarding the SH Rec trail at Folsom – also known as the David Hobbs trail. Guy thanked the commission for funding the dumpster at Folsom. Guy will ask Don and Bernadette Pearson about signage to honor the Eagle Scouts and Seth Pearson who was the impetus for building the ADA accessible trail.
Upper Valley Trail Alliance. The Vorec grant funded them so they came to SH for free and sent a report. Made changes to make trails more accessible. Guy asked if we were interested in the Lavin property which is under contract with the town to explore developing trails.
Ski program – Dylan is using the Cheddar app for registrations and waiver forms. All paperwork is due by December 9th.
Winter Volleyball – starting in December. Dylan is ordering some misc equipment for indoor volleyball.
Skating. Rosemary will buy passes at Cairn’s Arena, deliver them to the Library and the town Office, and post on Front Porch Forum. Sue will check to see how many Catamount passes are at the Town Office
.Miscellaneous/open discussion. Jessica asked about the sledding hill onTown Line Rd. No liability to the town or SHRC. Jessica will look into possibly having a tow rope.
