Minutes, April 14, 2026

- Minutes approved
- Treasurer’s report: Jessica via email reported that we have $9800 and we have $1500 left to spend this year. $1000 for portalets
Jessica has resigned. Tricia Scott will be the new treasurer.
- Whites Beach. Holding off on the Pergola since tree work will begin in the fall. Phil will contact security for the beach- Memorial Day through Labor Day, weekends only. Guy reported that the final design for the beach restoration is due April 30. The beach may be closed for a week in October. Buoys to be installed by Carol and family? Two parking passes for residents at $5 each, 80 non resident passes at $65 each, 2 per family.
- Recruit new members for Commission- Dylan will post on facebook and Front Porch Forum
- New Town Park: Waiting on Nate for final design with overlay of the park superimposed with proposed housing development. Suggested names: The Village Green, South Hero Village Green, South Hero Village Park. Town residents will fill out a survey voting for their first choice. The White Meeting House will be lifted so a new foundation can be built in the same location.
- Lavin Property. Uses for a vision project? Phil
- Island Acres. Rosemary and/or Phil will contact Guy for what help is needed
- Plan Summer events: Buoys, Try- Athlon- Rosemary will contact Tom Martin, Kayak Club, Italian Ice night, movie night at the beach, Food truck, Music, Bicycle events.
