If you are a registered voter of South Hero and wish to run for local office, you must submit the Petition for Candidacy form (local-candidate-petition) and the Consent of Candidate form (local-candidate-consent-pdf) to the Town Clerk no later than 4:00 PM on Monday January 20, 2025 to be included in the Town Report).

The Petition for Candidacy form must be signed by no fewer than 17 registered voters of South Hero.

Town Moderator- 1 year Term

Select board- 3 year Term, 2 year Term, and Select board 1 year remains of 2 year Term

Lister- 3 year Term

Cemetery Commissioner- 3 year Term

Library Trustee- 2 year Term, Library Trustee- 1 year Term

School Moderator- 1 year Term

School Director- 3 year Term, School Director- 2 year Term
